I'd be a bit careful disabling selective suspend across teh board on a laptop, since it can have a real battery impact. On a desktop it's fine. But if a powered hub fixes it, I'd turn power saving back on and see whether it's still needed.
ok but dumb question but how do i even check teh update ?
hmm idk everyone keeps saying this but nobody posts proof but hey ymmv
omggg ok update: did what @emeka.iqbal said and its fine now
if Windows was installed in Legacy/MBR mode, disabling CSM will make it unbootable. convert with mbr2gpt first (back up before you do anything).
yeahhh check in GPU Z (there's a Resizable BAR field) or in NVIDIA Control Panel System Information. AMD's Adrenalin software shows Smart Access Memory status.
btw i come back to this thread every week just for the drama, honestly just reset the firmware and save yourself the pain
hmmmm not sure about that id be careful about recommending a memory underclock as a fix. It can hide a fault until the return window closes. but hey ymmv
oh ive been there lol make sure the timeline frame rate matches teh source. A 29.97 source on a 30 fps timeline or 25 vs 24 will cause slow drift.
wait what honestly, if your power costs arent an issue, just laeving teh console on the downloads screen is the most reliable option. Rest mode is convenient, but its not perfect.
If you can't find a signed driver that lists your hardware ID, a new adapter with inbox Windows support is usually the better choice. Many modern adapters work without installing anything. worked for me anyway 🤷
