@voxelsage 3b0 let the shader pre compilation step run all the way through this time and enabled the RAM profile while i was at it, first cast hitches are mostly gone... entering towns still has a small bump, but its way more playbale.
it's definitely tied to new stuff showing up. driving through an area i've already visited is noticeably smoother than the first pass. the game has a shader option in the graphics menu that i skipped cuz it took ages.
@thread loop873 holy cow decided to wait two weeks, then updated with the previous package ready just in case. geForce Security Update Driver 475.06 has been fine so far. owe u a beer 🍺
