id be careful with cheap third party docks long term. some are fine, but a bad one can put the console at risk. day one patch is bigger than the actual game, classic

ahh classic try turning off the cable first, fixed it for me. came here to say exactly this hope that helps :)

following, having teh same problem

open teh classic sound panel with mmsys.cpl, right click the empty area, enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices . A disabled HDMI endpoint wont appear in teh modern Settings page. lmk how it goes
