@kkim did u ever fix it? ;) following, having teh same problem
Counter take: the industry pushes these things because enoguh ppl buy them. Maybe were teh niche, not teh mainsrteam. hope that helps :)
Mine: backups are more important than any upgrade u'll ever buy, and almost nobody has a good one. That's not a hot take, it's just ignored. good luck man!
yeahhh building is very doable for a beginner if you take your time. Read the motherboard manual, especially the front panel connector and RAM slot pages. Most first build problems are RAM in teh wrong slots or a missing CPU power cable.
dumb question but how do i even check teh cache. this. sooo much this
finally got it working, thanks everyone. pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo nvidia from scratch u guys are the best!!!
keep a short log of what driver you're on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum drivers shows installed packages and dates), when something breaks later, youll know if the timing matches. my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure
@pixelbuilder 2qt did u ever fix it?? ?
been there man my approach: make a restore point, downolad the previous driver pacakge so its ready, then try the new one 😭 If anything misbehaves, DDU and reinstall the old one. That makes updating a low risk experiment. worked for me…
i swear tdr is cursed
hmmm came here to say exactly this 15 tabs open and chrome ate all 32GB of ram again
rip
wait dumb question but how do i even check teh DNS. following, having teh same problem ?
