hmmm for me it was the BIOS, swapped it and boom, fixed my pc fans sound like a jet taking off but sure

open mmsys.cpl Recording tab, right click and enable Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices , if the USB microphone shows as disabled, right click Enable and set it as default.
