Open services.msc and check that the vendors audio service is installed and running. Some apps simply say they cant run when their service is stopped. good luck man!

make a backup before u touch teh settings, learned that the hard way worked for me anyway 🤷

oh ive been there lol keep a short log of what driver youre on and when you changed it (pnputil /enum drivers shows installed packages and dates). when something breaks later, youll know if teh timing matches.
