buy for the life you expect from the macihne. if u keep devices for five years or more, choose the model with the most RAM and storage u can afford at purchase, cuz with sealed parts you can't fix that later.
@beaw465 ran the installer again, picked Custom, and the HD audio box was unticked... ticked it, reboot, sound on the monitor with speakers is back... movie night rescued. seriously made my day 馃槶馃檹
