honestly just reset teh update and save yourself the pain... following, having teh same problem fingers crossed 🤞
for a single SSD, AHCI vs RAID mode makes little practical speed difference, switch only if you have a reason (like Linux compatibility). lmk how it goes

yeahhh run LatencyMon for 10 to 15 minutes while reproducing the crackle.. 😭 look at Highest reported DPC routine execution time and which driver it names... network, storage and GPU drivers are common culprits, not only teh audio…
