remove any GPU overclock and memory overclock. device removed errros are very sensitive to VRAM instability. if you used a tuning tool, reset it to defaults and also check that no profile reapplies at startup.

@loose gremlin holy cow it was teh rest mode setting... turned on Stay Connected to the Internet and a big day one patch finisehd overnight... i feel a bit silly, but mostly relieved.

ahh right older kernel boots... in /boot the new version has a vmlinuz but no initrd file at all. sorry for the wall of text lol

wait wait does this also apply to realtek?... pro tip: write down what u change, i didnt and had to redo onborad from scratch ??
