Got a proposal from an SEO consultant for a SaaS docs site, and a big part of it revolves around keyword density. It sounded convincing in the meeting, but afterwards I found forum posts calling it outdated. I'm not trying to bash anyone, I just wanna know if this is still a sensible priority in your experience. Not looking for a fight, just honest experience from people who've tested it.

sorry forgot to say the consultant wants every page of a SaaS docs site rewritten around keyword density. Thats alot of hours.
