honestly embarrassed to ask, but Ive been at this for an hour. an old-school shooter remaster wont start, just this error:
missing VCRUNTIME140.dll. my friend told me to just copy the file from his PC into the game folder. that sounds wrong to me. can someone explain what this file actually is and how to fix it cleanly?
Im fiarly comfortable with Windows, but DLL errors are new to me. A short explanation of why this happens would also help, so i can avoid it on my next PC. pls help 馃檹
