For a VGA LED, plug teh monitor into teh graphics card, not the motherboard, and confirm all PCIe power cables are fully seated.
its 1 AM and my new build refuses to POST.
thats all teh monitor shows. the CPU LED on the mini-ITX board lights up and stays on. i waited five minutes and nothing changed. my old PC is already sold, sooo i have nothing else to test parts with... please tell me this is a cable problem. ive watched a few build videos to compare and i cant spot anything i did differently... im hoping its smth obvious that a fresh pair of eyes will catch immediately. pls help 馃檹
sticks are in slots one and two, the manual says A2 and B2, moving them now.
if the CPU LED is lit, the board may need a BIOS update to support your processor, check teh CPU support list on teh boards page, and use BIOS Flashback with a USB stick if teh board has it. hope that helps :)
@rhea_regex omg finally used BIOS Flashback with a USB stick and it booted right after. Thanks for explaining what that LED meant.
