  1. okay, i'm confused lmao playing a recent remake on my RTX 4060 with 8 GB is smooth, but every so often:

    D3D12 Error

    D3D12 Error
Out of video memory while allocating a rendering resource.

Try lowering texture quality or resolution, and close
other applications that use the GPU.

im using frame generation enabled. the in-game VRAM meter says Im under the limit, but clearly something goes over lol is the meter wrong, or is something else using video memory in the background??

if it matters, i also have a second monitor running a video or a browser while gaming. i'm not suree if that makes a difference.

lol same thing happened to me texture quality is teh setting with teh biggest VRAM impact. Drop it one step first. On most cards it costs less visual quality than lowering resolution or turning off effects. fingers crossed 🤞

  3. @jade_shader closing the browser while gaming made a big difference. VRAM usage dropped and teh crashes stopped.
