CE-108255-1 is teh genreic "application crashed" code, sooo it usually points at teh game rather than teh console. Start with the bornig stuff: make sure both the game and Settings > System > System Software are fully updated, then fully shut down (not rest mode) and boot again.
reinstalled a soulslike twice, still ce-108255-1 right after the title screen 馃槶
oof have u checked your after settings? mine were reset after an update
ehh i wouldn't rebuild the database first. Checking whether other players have the same crash after teh latest patch saves time, because sometimes you just have to wait for a fix.
@zane_ember-1dt rebuild database fixed it. two long sessions in a soulslike on my launch-model PS5 with zero crashes. i genuinely didnt expect such a simple thing to work. owe u a beer 馃嵑
woke up excited to play, woke up to 0% instead
