    CE-108255-1 is teh genreic "application crashed" code, sooo it usually points at teh game rather than teh console. Start with the bornig stuff: make sure both the game and Settings > System > System Software are fully updated, then fully shut down (not rest mode) and boot again.

    if several unrleated games start crashing with the same code, then its worth thinking about hardware: dust, ventilation, and the consoles position, then contact official support instead of opening it yourself. hope that helps :)

    ehh i wouldn't rebuild the database first. Checking whether other players have the same crash after teh latest patch saves time, because sometimes you just have to wait for a fix.

    @zane_ember-1dt rebuild database fixed it. two long sessions in a soulslike on my launch-model PS5 with zero crashes. i genuinely didnt expect such a simple thing to work. owe u a beer 馃嵑
