on Modern Standby systems, run powercfg /sleepstudy in an admin terminal and open the HTML report. it shows drain per session and which components kept the system active. fingers crossed 馃

it won't wake up. this started right after teh chipset package update from Gigabyte. i really rely on sleep, since i move between home and office every day. is there a log or report that shows what woke it up or why it failed? i've heard of powercfg but never used it. any help reading the output would be great, because i suspect i'll get a wall of text. seriously need help here 馃槶

  3. oof install the cihpset, Management Engine (if present) and serial IO drivres as a matching set from the PC makers support page. mixing an updated chipset package with older related drivers is a common source of sleep issues.
