  1. Render job failed. Again. Resolve Studio, exporting to ProRes, fails at teh very last frame:

    Render Queue

    Render Queue
    Job 1 - Trailer_v3 H.264 | 3840x2160 | 23.976 fps Completed
    Job 2 - Wedding_Final H.265 | 3840x2160 | 25 fps | stopped at 01:12:44:08 Failed
    Job 3 - Wedding_Social_9x16 H.264 | 1080x1920 | 25 fps Waiting

Playback in teh timeline works fine... i dont understand why export doesnt :D Any debugging tips??

ive exported many projects without issues before, this is teh first time it fails like this. im hoping someone can tell me how to find whats actually breaking... i can share render settings or logs if that helps.

  5. yeahhh clear teh render cache: in Resolve, Playback > Delete Render Cache > All... corrupted cache files can break exports even if playback looks fine. worked for me anyway 馃し

  6. oof check free disk space on the output drive and the cache drive... running out of space mid-render often shows up as a generic render failure.

  7. lol same thing happened to me try a different encoder: switch between hardware (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel) and software encoding in the export settings. If one works, update or reinstall the GPU driver. worked for me anyway 馃し

  10. yeahhh if the problem clip is a phone recording or screen capture with variable frame rate, transcode it to a constant frame rate intermediate like ProRes or DNxHR first, then relink. fingers crossed 馃

  11. Render a short in/out range around the failure point to reproduce it quickly instead of waiting for the full export each time.
