HOW MUCH VRAM DO YOU REALLY NEED FOR 6K RAW CLIPS??

    everything was fine until i started grading. now my NLE keeps showing:

    the project uses 6K RAW clips with stabilization on most clips, renders also fail. what settings shuold i change?

    The GPU drivers are up to date and the PC handles games without problems. Editing seems to be a completely different kind of load. Id love to understand whats going on. thx in advance!!

    ok so spread heavy effects: apply noise reduction to fewer nodes, use a smaller noise reduction region or lower settings, and avoid stacking several heavy effetcs on one clip.

    oof for me it was the extension.. xD swapped it and boom, fixed, bump... still happening with video-editing for me

    oof have u checked ur vram settings? mine were reset after an update hope that helps :)

    cache heavy effects instead of computing them live. right-click a clip with stabilization and enable Render Cache Color Output, or set Playback > Render Cache > Smart. fingers crossed 🤞

    ok so close other GPU-heavy apps like browsers with hardware acceleration, games or other editors. They all share the same VRAM.
