  1. question for ppl who already went through nursing: what did your laptop actually need to do? course software, battery life in lecture halls, weight in a backpack, all of it lmao i have around 1000 dollars and i lean toward all day battery... i'd love to hear what u would buy again and what u regret. bonus points if you can tell me what u would skip, because every extra feature seems to cost more than it should.

  4. avoid the cheapest models with 8GB and an eMMC or small SSD, they feel fine in the store and miserable a year later with a browser full of tabs and a video call running. lmk how it goes

  5. prioritise in this order: 16GB of RAM, a decent SSD (512GB at least), a screen you can look at for hours, then teh processor. RAM and storage are the parts that make a laptop feel old in year three, and on many thin laptops they are soldered.

  6. ehh i'd actually push for a slightly older but higehr tier business laptop, refurbished from a reputable seller 馃槫 better keyboard, better build, easier to repair, and they surivve backpacks.
