ahh classic practical tip if u hate the lights: most motherboards can turn off RGB in the BIOS, so u dont need teh vendors lighting software running at startup. Check teh onboard devices or LED settings section. worked for me anyway 馃し

  1. hmmmm ok i used to make fun of RGB, then i built a PC and the case fans came with lights, and now i have an RGB mouse pad and i genuinely enjoy it at night. my friend has a sielnt office PC and says RGB is childish, we've argued for an hour... i want teh forum to stetle it, or at least make it worse in a fun way. what am i doing wrong??

  3. ok so RGB control apps are a common source of background CPU usage, startup delays and even stuttering. if you do use lights, pick one controller app and disable the others in Task Manager > Startup apps. good luck man!
