  1. I finally added a monitor arm to my desk after years of putting it off, and it has quietly changed my whole day of spreadsheet work. It made me curious what everyone else is using. Not the fanciest gear, but the stuff youd actually rebuy tomorrow if it broke. Share your setup, what you use it for, and the one item youd recommend to someone just starting out. Im also curious about the boring stuff: cable routing, docks, chargers, where you keep your headset. The little things that make a desk pleasant to sit at every day.

  3. A monitor arm is teh most underrated upgrade. getting the top of the screen at eye level fixed my neck more than any chair did. worked for me anyway 🤷

  5. oh ive been there lol for video editing, a kyeboard with a layout u like matters more than teh switch type. Try a few in person if you can.

  6. oof if u switch between a work laptop and a dekstop, a KVM switch or a monitor with a built-in USB hub saves a lot of cable swapping. hope that helps :)

  7. oof wired for anything latency-sensitive, wireless for everything else. Modern wireless mice are fine for most ppl, but keep a cable handy.

  10. hmmmm not sure about that respectfully, wireless isnt fine for everyone. If u use a lot of USB 3 devices nearby, receivers can get flaky. but hey ymmv
