oof analyze the minidumps in C:\Windows\Minidump. install WinDbg from the Microsoft Store, open a .dmp file and run !analyze -v. Look for MODULE_NAME and IMAGE_NAME: they show which driver crashed. fingers crossed 馃

  1. My PC is perfectly stable except when playing a hero shooter. Then, at match start, this:

If you call a support person, give them this info:
    Stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

the stop code is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I got a penalty for leaving a ranked match because of it. how do I find out which driver is causing this?

im comfortable running tools if someone points me at teh right ones. id really like to understand the cause instead of just reinstalling Windows. thanks in advance for any pointers at all. seriously need help here 馃槶

  4. been there man test ur RAM. run Windows Memory Diagnostic (mdsched.exe) or better, a full MemTest86 pass... unstable XMP/EXPO profiles commonly cause crashes that only appear in demanding games. fingers crossed 馃

  6. if the dump names the anti-cheat drievr, reinstall teh anti-cheat completely: uninstall it from Apps, reboot, then reinstall or let the game reinstall it. also update the network adapter driver, since conflicts with it are frequent.

  10. IRQL and page fault stop codes are often caused by a driver accesisng invalid memory :/ Common culprits besides anti-cheat are network drivers, RGB software, and old vritualization or VPN drivers. The dump tells u which one. hope that helps :)

  12. @anika.haddad dude memTest86 found errors with XMP on. loosened the memory speed slightly and DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is gone.
