    hmmmm ok ill be hoenst: i used an easy mode in a game recently and felt a weird mix of relief and guilt. im a parent with little time, and it let me finish something i never would have otherwise... should i feel bad? what do you think about difficulty options in tactical RPGs? im not asking to make every game easy, just wondering where people draw the line... some options feel like help, others feel like they change the game completely... im genuinely curious where this community stands.

    ahh classic accessibility options arent only about difficulty. remappable controls, slower game speed, hold-to-press toggles and visual cues help many players without changing the core design. hope that helps :)

    been there man for racing games, built-in alternatives like summons, stronger builds or optional areas often serve as hdiden difficulty options without labeling them. worked for me anyway 馃し

    some designers argue that difficulty is part of a games identity, and thats valid. A game can be built around overcoming challenge without being wrong. fingers crossed 馃

    Optional modes dont change the experience for players who dont use them. If the dfeault difficulty stays as intended, more options just widen the audience. worked for me anyway 馃し

    lol same thing happened to me a good middle gorund is letting plyaers change difficulty anytime without penalty... that reduces the shame of switching and lets people experiment.

    wait what i think some games are better because they dont compromise. not every game has to be for everyone, and thats okay. just my 2 cents
