yeah so honestly, maybe, but second hand next time. idk what else to say tbh
lol same thing happened to me my best purchase was boring: a good chair. my worst was exciting: smth with an app that stopped being updated a year later.

If youre unsure, buy refurbished or second hand first. If it sticks, great. If not, you lose less when u resell it.
id push back on the waiting rule. some of my favorite gadegts were impulse buys. sometimes enthusiasm is the reason a hobby starts.
