  1. guys pls help mid-match my screen suddenly filled with black flashing textures. It looked like this:

    gpu artifacts

this happens since i bought it used. the card is a RX 6800 XT... my heart dropped because i know artifacts can mean dying VRAM, i dont have money for a new card right now... is there any hope?

I already tried a fresh driver install and a different game.. 馃檹 the artifacts show up there too after a while... im hoping someone can tell me the right order of tests. seriously need help here 馃槶

  2. hmmm important check: do the artifacts show up in a screenshot, or only on the monitor?? If a screenshot captures them, theyre rendered by the GPU. If screenshots look clean but the monitor shows them, suspect the cable, port or mointor.

  4. reset everything to stock first... remove any core or memory overclock, undervolt or custom profile in MSI Afterburner or Adrenalin's tuning.. ;) memory overclocks are the most common cause of sparkles and checkerboards.

  5. yeahhh if artifacts appear even in BIOS or on the boot screen, thats almost cretainly hardware, in that case contact the seller or manufacturer for warranty.
