GMAIL KEEPS KILLING THE TAB. THE CULPRIT WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

    ok so i was halfway through smth important on Gmail when teh whole tab turned grey and showed teh sad folder face. reloaded, worked for two minutes, died again. now it happens every single time.

Error code: Out of Memory

    The error code underneath says STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN. Other sites are mostly fine, which makes it even weirder. i already cleared cache and cookies, restarted the PC and updated Edge. Im running out of ideas and patience. Where would you even start with this? what am i doing wrong??

    make a backup before u touch the BIOS, learned that teh hard way. dumb question but how do i even check the DNS

    Try turning off hardware acceleration (Settings > System > "Use graphics acceleration when available"), restart teh browser and test again. Heavy pages like editors and video sites lean on teh GPU, and a flaky graphics driver shows up as random tab crashes. If that helps, update teh GPU driver from the vendor and turn acceelration back on. lmk how it goes

    omggg ok update: did what @anikav548 said and its fine now. try turning off teh router first, fixed it for me

    STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION very often comes from third-party software injecting code into the browser process: antivirus web shields, old screen recorders, overlay tools. temporarily disable teh web proetction module of your security suite and test. if that fixes it, add an exclusion or update the security product rather than leaving protection off. good luck man!
