Anyone Else Crash At The Second Chapter Loading Screen? Im About To Give Up

    I'm 50 hours into a horror game and loving it, but now it crashes at teh second chapter loading screen. every. single. time 馃槄 this is all I get:

    Fatal error

    Fatal error
The game has crashed and will now close.

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
The GPU device instance has been suspended.

    I reloaded older saves, rebooted and tried again. same result :) I cant progress the story at all, please tell me somenoe found a way through.

    Ive already tried restarting teh PC, updating teh GPU driver and clsoing everything in the background. The crash happens at teh exact same second every time, like clockwork. what am i doing wrong??

    ok so if its a pre-rendered cutscene, missing media codecs can cause this on Windows N editions. Install the Media Feature Pack from Settings > Apps > Optional features if youre on an N edition. lmk how it goes

    hmmmm ok spent all weekend on horror and im still not done... dumb question but how do i even check the extension pls help 馃檹

    oh ive been there lol back up your save folder first... look in Documents\My Games, %APPDATA% or %LOCALAPPDATA% under teh game or publisher name... copy it somewhere safe before trying any fix. fingers crossed 馃

    lol same thing happened to me lower the graphics settings temporarily, especially texture quality and resolution. Cutscenes and boss arenas often load higher-quality assets that push VRAM over the limit.

    yeahhh verify the game files throguh ur launcher. A single corrupted file used only by that cutscene or area would crash only there. fingers crossed 馃

    ok so disable overlays (Discord, the launchers own overlay, recording software) and any FPS limiters... some crash only during pre-rendered video cutscenes because of overlays hooking into playback.

    ehh before diving into technical fixes, check teh games community hub. sometimes a known crash at a specific point already has an official hotfix or workaronud. just my 2 cents

    oh ive been there lol have u checked your second settings? mine were reset after an update, i swear loading is cursed fingers crossed 馃
