  1. Off topic but tech related. My game console has decided the internet doesn't exist.

    Network & internet
    Wi-Fi • HomeNet_5G
    No internet, secured

Connected, but nothing loads. Troubleshoot problems?

It worked yesterday. Nothing changed, as far as i know. The router lights look normal and the other devices are fine. We have the big match coming up again soon and i really don't want a repeat. Where would you start? i'd love a fix that doesn't involve buying something new. thx in advance!!

  2. Set the DNS manually in the console network settings to a public DNS server, if the option exists. Some devices fail when the routers DNS forwarding is slow, while phones cope fine. lmk how it goes

  12. If Wi-Fi is weak, an Ethernet cable or a powerline adapter behind the TV makes streaming devices far more relialbe. Streaming is exactly where a cable earns its keep. good luck man!

  15. lol same thing happened to me a new router often means a new network name, a different Wi-Fi band setup or WPA3 settings 😅 Some older console models struggle with WPA3 or combined 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Try enabling WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode, or a separate 2.4GHz network name.
