if you had to pick one os for music production tomorrow, which and why?

ahh classic pick an LTS or stable release for a machine u depend on. fewer surprises and you can still get newer apps via Flatpak.

Keep the dual boot for a few months but make Linux the default boot entry. If you go weeks without needing Windows, you have ur answer.

make a backup before u touch teh fan curve, learned that teh hard way fingers crossed 🤞

back up your Windows partition with an image tool before wiping it... cheap insurance if you discover a missing tool later. hope that helps :)

oh ive been there lol hardware matters more than distro. Check your Wi-Fi chip and GPU with lspci -k on a live USB. if both show a driver in use, the hard part is already solved. hope that helps :)
