    It was fine yesterday. It started after a Windows update. i tried a different port and a reboot. i can't tell if i should be shopping for a replacement or digging deeper into drivers. i'd be really grateful for a step-by-step order of things to try. i don't wanna make it worse by randomly installing old drivers from the internet. any ideas??

    been there man shut down fully and drain power: unplug teh PC (or hold the power button on a laptop with the charger disconnected) for a minute. code 43 sometimes clears after teh device is fully power-cycled. lmk how it goes

    nah tbh I'd be cautious with pnputil deletes if u're not sure which package is which. Removing the wrong one can take out another device. idk maybe im wrong lol
