Why do I spend more time tweaking settings than actually playing?

  1. not gonna lie this is driving me nuts unpopular among my friends: I think consoles are the better choice for most ppl who play competitive shooters. you sit down, press a button, play. PC is great if you enjoy teh tinkering, but most people don't. as a shift worker, convenience wins. who agrees and who wants to fight me on this?? I know I'll get roasted in a tech forum, but I'm ready for a fair fight.

  2. ur PC can feel more like a console with a few changes: use Big Picture mode on Steam, disable launchers from starting with Windows, enable automatic driver updates only for the GPU, and schedule Windows updates outside your gaming hours.

  3. yeahhh for couch play on PC, a small PC or a srteaming setup to the TV with a contrloler works well. Steam Link and similar in-home streaming tools handle it nicely over a wired connection. fingers crossed 🤞

  7. lol same thing happened to me for big open-world games, check where ur friends play. Crossplay helps, but the platform ur group uses still matters more than any spec difference. fingers crossed 🤞

  9. Handheld PCs are a real middle ground now for people with little time and space: your PC library, console-like convenience, and you can play in short sessions anywhere.
