  1. ugh. ive been tinkering with computers for five years and this one bugs me: laptops dont need to be thinner. Every review praises the opposite, every product launch doubles down, and i just dont see the benefit in my daily life. Maybe Im missing something. Maybe Im an old grump. Either way, i wanna hear both sides, and i also want your own unpopular opinions. seriously need help here 馃槶

  4. Mine: backups are more important than any upgrade u'll ever buy, and almost nobody has a good one. That's not a hot take, it's just ignored. good luck man!

  10. ok so partly agree. A lot of features are designed for the review and the store shelf, not daily use. the test i use: would i miss it after a week without it? most things fail that test. fingers crossed 馃

  11. Disagree, respectfully. Features that seem pointless to u can be accessibility features for someone else. Dark mode, touchscreens and bigger text options matter alot to ppl with eye strain or motor difficulties.

  12. yeahhh i agree with the spirit. buying for your real use instead of teh best possible spec saves a lot of money. most ppl's computers sit at 5 percent CPU usage all day. good luck man!

  13. Counter take: the industry pushes these things because enoguh ppl buy them. Maybe were teh niche, not teh mainsrteam. hope that helps :)

  15. My unpopular opinion: most perforamnce complaints come from too many startup apps and browser extensions, not old hardware. Check Task Manager > Startup apps before buying anything new. good luck man!
