consider total cost honestly. consoles are cheaper up front, PC games often go on deep sales, and online multiplayer on consoles usually requires a subscription.

ur PC can feel more like a console with a few changes: use Big Picture mode on Steam, disable launchers from satrting with Windows, enable automatic driver updates only for teh GPU, and schedule Windows updates outside your gaming hours. hope that helps :)

been there man handheld PCs are a real middle ground now for people with little time and space: ur PC library, console-like convenience, and u can play in short sessions anywhere.
