Static IP Inside The DHCP Pool. What Could Go Wrong??? (Everything)
hmmm on a Windows DHCP srever, enable conflict detection (right-click IPv4 > Properties > Advanced tab, Conflict detection attempts set to 1 or 2, its a server-wide setting not a scope one). The server pings an address before leasing it. It slows leasing slightly but prevents duplicates from static devices. worked for me anyway 🤷
reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets

nah tbh respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made phone worse idk maybe im wrong lol
@avao275 did u ever fix it?... have u checked your ip-conflict settings? mine were reset after an update
been there man find who owns teh IP. From a machine on teh same subnet:
arp -a(Windows) orip neigh(Linux) shows teh MAC for the addrses after u ping it. Look up the MAC vendor prefix and check the switchs MAC address table to find the port.
