  1. Please help. My self-built PC cant finish a Windows update:

    Windows Update

    Windows Update
    We couldn't complete the updates.
Undoing changes. Don't turn off your computer.

    Error code: 0x800f0922

and an MMO won't start without virtualization-based security. I'm not super technical. where do I begin?

any step-by-step help is appreciated. ill report back with the results of whatever you suggest.

i realy dont want to reinstall Windows just to play one game... if theres a way to fix the update properly, pls let me know.

Ive tried restarting a few times and running teh update again. Same result every time. Im out of ideas at this point.

  5. hmmm use Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Windows Update... it resets update components that are stuck. hope that helps :)

  6. ahh classic error 0x800f0922 often points to the system reserved partition being too small or a connection problem during the update. disconnect VPNs and check free space on teh small system partitions in Disk Management.

  10. lol same thing happened to me if the game needs TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot, those are BIOS settings, not Windows updates. Look for fTPM (AMD) or PTT (Intel) and Secure Boot in your BIOS. Check tpm.msc and System Information > Secure Boot State to confirm.
