why does a big day-one patch only download when im staring at the screen?

nah tbh respectfully disagree, i tried that and it made day-one worse

day one patch is bigger than the actual game, classic

honestly just reset the drievr and save yourself the pain. which version are you on??

dude finally got it working, thx everyone, reading this at 2am instead of sleeping, no regrets cant believe it was that simple lol

Check Settings > System > Power Saving > Features Available in Rest Mode and make sure Stay Connected to the Internet is turned on. Without it the console really does drop the network in rest mode.

been there man make sure theres enough free space for the download plus teh install, if the console cant reserve the space, some downloads just sit at waiting instead of showing an error. fingers crossed 🤞

@loose_gremlin holy cow it was teh rest mode setting... turned on Stay Connected to the Internet and a big day-one patch finisehd overnight... i feel a bit silly, but mostly relieved.
