    ok so i put a 4K Blu-ray movie into my PS5 Slim with the disc drive and got this instead of teh game:

    Cannot read the disc.

    Cannot read the disc.
Remove the disc and check it for scratches
or dirt, then insert it again.
Error code: CE-100005-6

    the drive was making no sound at all for a few seconds before teh error came up. I took the disc out, checked it under the light, and it looks clean. other discs seemed to work last month, but I havent tested them today. I really dont want to send the console away for weeks, how do I figure out whether the disc or the drive is the problem? pls help 🙏

    If teh console is standing vertically, try it horizontally on a flat, stable surface for one test. Some drives behave differently depending on orientation. fingers crossed 🤞

    @mutex_owl654 It was the disc. Exchanged it at the store and the new one installs fine on my PS5 Slim with the disc drive.
