    so annoyed rn every year I have the same debate with myself. this year I have whatever I saved this year and I play alot of big single-player games. freinds on PC say its the only way. friends on console say it just works. and my current PC runs on a potato. whats ur honest take for someone like me?

    id also like to hear about the long-term costs. online subscriptions, game prices and upgrades all add up differently.

    Bonus points if youve switched recently and can tell me what surprised you teh most. any ideas??

    think about where ur friends play, for multiplayer games, being on teh same platform or haivng crossplay matters more than raw performance.

    ahh classic a console is simpler: one box, games optimised for it, and fewer settings. A PC gives you mods, more control, and access to sales on several stores.

    ehh building a PC can be fun, but its not for everyone... prebuilts are fine too if you just want to play.
