STICK DRIFT ALREADY? MY DUALSENSE EDGE IS ONLY TWO YEARS OLD

    im literally losing my mind here im sooo annoyed. After two years with this DualSense Edge, suddenly the cursor never stops moving. Heres the stick test with my hands off:

Release both sticks. Both dots should rest in the centre.
Left stick    X  0.18   Y -0.26
Right stick   X  0.00   Y  0.01

    the right stick is perfect, the left one is clearly off-centre. I'm careful with my controllers, no drops, no throwing... before I spend money again, I want to know if there's something I can do myself or through warranty.

    its frustrating because teh rest of teh controller is in great shape: triggers, buttons and battery are all fine. only teh stick has decided to live its own life.

    if its under warranty, contact official support. write down which stick drifts and in which direction, and record a short video of a stick test with your hands off. it makes the process much smoother.

    Id avoid opening the controller yourself :D It can void the warranty, and replacing stick modules needs soldering on most pads. but hey ymmv

    @loose_smith yesss sent it in under warranty with the test video and got a replacement DualSense Edge. Painless. thx for teh tip about recodring it.
