I used to buy every big reelase on day one. lately, every launch comes with an update that added performance mode, and the first week is all about bugs and performance complaints. with racing games especially, waiting for the first big patch seems to give a much better experience, and often a lower price. but I also miss the excitement of playnig with everyone at launch. where do u stand? day one, or patient gamer?
Not trying to bash anyone here. Developers work hard and launches are complicated. i'm just trying to figure out what makes the most sense for me as a player.
