    long time lurker first post lol I'm finally ready to upgrade, and I'm stuck between a gaimng PC and a console. I have a student budget, and I mostly play MMOs. honestly, I miss when games fit on one disc. I like teh idea of mods and settings on PC, but I also like teh simplicity of a console. what would u do in my position, and why?

    not looking for a war, just honest experiences from people whove used both, what made you choose, and would u choose the same again?? any ideas??

    Id like to try mods, but Im not sure how much Id use them.

    somewhere an AI is confidently telling someone the wrong fix rn

    yeahhh a console is simpler: one box, games optimised for it, and fewer setitngs. A PC gives u mods, more control, and access to sales on several stores.

    oof for sim racing, check which platform the games u want actually run best on... some genres, like sim racing and strategy, are much stronger on PC.

    If you already have a decent laptop or older PC, a console might be teh best addition. If you have a console, a PC might complement it nicely.

    yeahhh consider ongoing costs. online multiplayer on consoles usually needs a subscription, while on PC its mostly free... on the other hand, PC hardware upgrades add up over time. good luck man!
