hmmmm ok i've been trying to install a game from my subscription on my Xbox Series X for two days.. xD every time it gets partway and then shows this:

We couldn't install this game.
Check your storage and network, then try again.

0x87e00017... im installing to an external SSD... other games launch fine, its only the install that fails. i restarted teh console and checekd my internet, both look okay. im out of ideas, and the weekend i planned for this game is disappearing... what do people uusally do about this one?
im fairly patient, but this is the third evening in a row Ive spent looking at progress bars instead of playing. any ideas are welcome.
