Accepted solution by Wren Lindqvist — pausnig a subscriptoin for a few months when u're busy is completely fine. most services let u rejion later, and ur saves are usually kept…
  1. i have a PC game subscription with a lifetime of games, and somehow i install five games and finish none. when i bought games one at a time, i finished almost all of them. now i start something, get distracted by something new on teh service, and drop it after two hours 🔥 its a great deal on paper, but Im not sure it makes me happier. how do you all handle it? rules, lists, or just vibes?

i'm not complaining about the value, it's honestly great, i just feel like i'm not enjoying games as much as i used to when i owned fewer of them. thx in advance!!

  2. hmmm look at how long games take before starting. Short games can clear your head between huge RPGs and make the backlog feel less heavy. worked for me anyway 🤷

  3. have u checked your game-pass settings? mine were reset after an update. which version are you on?

  4. oof limit yourself to two active games: one long and one short. When you finish one, you get to pick a new one lol It sounds strict, but it helped me finish more games than in years.

rgb adds +10 fps everyone knows that

  5. use the subscription for discovery. try things for an hour, and if something grabs you, commit. dont treat the catalogue as a to-do list.

  10. oof check teh leaving soon list once a month, not daily, if a game u care about is leaving and you wont finish it in time, wishlist it and buy it on sale later. hope that helps :)
