My Launch-Model PS5 Throws The Same Error Code About An Hour Into A Session. Rebuild Database Worth It?

    short version: an open-world RPG crashes about an hour into a session on my launch-model PS5... long version: Ive tried everything i can think of and it keeps doing it.

    I deleted and reinstalled teh game, I turned the console off fully instead of using rest mode, and I even cleared some space on the SSD in case that mattered... same code every time 馃憤 is there some setting Im missing, or do I just have to wait for a patch?? pls help 馃檹

    hmmm if you have an M.2 expansion SSD, move the game to the internal storage as a test. A drive that runs hot or is just borderline fast enough can cause crashes in streaming-heavy games.

    Check if the game has a VRR, 120 Hz or performnace-mode toggle. Some games have had crashes tied to one specific mode, sooo switching modes temporarily is a quick way to narrow it down.

    if several unrealted games start crashing with the same code, then its worth thinking about hardware: dust, ventilation, and teh consoles position... then contact official support instead of opening it yourself. good luck man!
