  1. genuine question for teh older players here... when an early PS4-era game I love gets remade, I get excited and nervous at teh same time... excited because more ppl will play it, nervous in case the new versoin changed the soundtrack... with survival horror especially, small details matter... how do you decide whether to get the remake or just replay teh original?

And for younger players who never played the originals: do u even want teh old versions, or is teh remake the definitive one for you? what am i doing wrong??

  4. Look at what the remake changes in accessibility and quality of life. Saves, difficulty options and controls are often teh biggest improvements for older racing games.

  5. for me a remake works when it keeps teh core loop and changes teh presentation. once the pacing or structure changes, it's a reimagining and should be judegd as its own game.
