  1. ugh. genuine question: how do you decide whether to buy at launch? For big open-world games, i feel like i miss out on the community buzz if i wait, but day-one a patch that fixed half the game stories are getting more common 🔥 Is there a rule you follow, like waiting for the first big patch?

also curious: do you preorder anything anymore, or did that habit disappear for you too?

Not trying to bash anyone here. Developers work hard and launches are complicated... i'm just trying to figure out what makes the most sense for me as a player.

  3. ahh classic wishlist teh game and set a price alert on the store you use... ull get a notification when it goes on sale, so you can forget about it until then. fingers crossed 🤞

  4. oh ive been there lol watch impressions from plaeyrs on teh same platform as you. A game can run well on one console and badly on another, and early reviews dont always cover every version.

  6. hmm idk waiting for the first big patch also means spoilers everywhere. For story games, thats a real cost. just my 2 cents
