im literally losing my mind here i'm so frustrated. Since the latest driver, a strategy game keeps crashing to desktop on the main menu on my RTX 4070:
Fatal error
The game has crashed and will now close.
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
The GPU device instance has been suspended.
i verified game files and restarted. Other games seem fine, which makes it even weirder. What's the cleanest way to go back to the previous driver?
I don't mind rolling back, but I'd like to understand what changed. Is there something in the new driver that's known to cause this?
any routine you follow after driver updates would be great to hear. i clearly need a better process. any ideas??
