    my phone felt slow sooo i almost bought a new one. A friend told me to change teh animation scales in Developer options instead.

    three sliders: Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale, default is 1x. I set them all to 0.5x.

    The difference is surprisingly big. Apps open faster (visually), menus pop in quicker, and the whole phone feels lighter. It doesnt make heavy apps load faster, but the everyday feel is much better. pls help 🙏

    ahh classic try turning off teh BIOS first, fixed it for me

    The animation scale doesn't affect battery much, but less animation can feel more efficient in daily use.

    ahh classic if u record screen tutorials, keep animations at 1x so viewers can follow transitions. hope that helps :)

    have u checked your android settings? mine were reset after an update

    windows update said 'this will only take a moment' 3 hours ago

    exact same thing happened to my gaming rig last month. pro tip: write down what u change. i didnt and had to redo developer-otpions from scratch fingers crossed 🤞

    oh ive been there lol if you prefer not to enable Developer options, many phones have Remove animations under Accessibility, which turns animations off entirely.

    hmmm some phone makers reset these after a major system update, sooo check again if thnigs feel slow after updating. hope that helps :)

    nah tbh respectful caveat: this is visual only. if your phone is truly slow because of storage or old hardware, it wont fix that.
