    Castlevania: Symphony of teh Night (PS1, 1997) has a hidden mode.

    after youve cleared the game once (your meomry card needs a clear save), start a new game and enter RICHTER as ur name. youll play as Richter Belmont instead of Alucard, with whip attacks and different moves.

    Its a totally different way to play the castle. Richter is faster in some ways and lacks Alucards RPG equipment system. Its a great bonus that rewards finishing the game. pls help 🙏

    lol same thing happened to me you cant use Alucards equipment as Richter, sooo the game plays very differently.

    wait what small caveat: u need a clear save, sooo first-timers should play normally first.
