found the fastest way to type an em dash or degree sign on windows

    ok so im on Windows 11 and just found that Win+ 😅 isnt only emoji. it has tabs for GIFs, kaomoji (teh Japanese text faces), symbols and teh clipboard history.

    So instead of hunting for the "¯_(ツ)_/¯" shrug online i just open teh kaoomji tab. The symbols tab has punctuation like em dashes and proper quotation marks. This is built into teh OS, no app, no extension. Anyone know if it works in older desktop apps too?

    if the shortcut does nothing, check Settings > Time & language > Typing lmao some keyboard layouts and some third-party input tools interfere with it. fingers crossed 🤞

    following, having teh same problem... spent all weekend on shortcuts and im still not done

    15 tabs open and chrome ate all 32GB of ram again

    hmmm pro tip: write down what u change... i didnt and had to redo emoji from scratch. @farah.lopez what did u end up doing in teh end lmk how it goes

    you can also pick skin tones from the panel, teh setting is right there in the emoji tab and it remembers your choice. good luck man!

    at this point my GPU cost more than my car lol
